Parent Groups

Rutherford School Council is an active and supportive group in which all parents are welcome and encouraged to be involved. Meetings are held monthly to plan social/special events and provide the principal with a parent perspective on the school operations.

Rutherford Parent Fundraising Council meets the same night as the School Council. This group coordinates the fundraising events for the school. Our wonderful playground and extensive landscaping are a result of years of work by Rutherford parents. The school has also benefited from upgraded technology, physical education equipment renewal and new stage curtains.
