Most schools offer regular programming, but no two schools are quite the same. Regular programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education, but a school’s focus, optional courses and activities will vary depending on how it is organized to meet student needs.

At Rutherford School, in addition to regular programming, students learn French as a second language starting in Kindergarten.  For more information on specific grades and curriculum please visit My Child's Learning.  This resource will provide you with a better understanding of Alberta’s curriculum and how you can help your child. Here, you’ll discover what your child is learning, how they’re assessed and what resources are available to help them be successful from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
